The Silver Lake Campers Association is a nonprofit group that has worked to support the City of Stockton’s operation of Silver Lake Family Camp for more than 50 years. In the past, the Association has provided “those little extras” that enhance the Family Camp experience. Last year the Silver Lake Campers Association stepped in to fill the void that was left when the camp was closed by the City of Stockton. By operating Silver Lake Family Camp, the Association was able to let campers enjoy the benefits of all those who want to make Silver Lake Camp a part of their vacation plans.
Our Silver Lake Campers Association annual membership dinner/ meeting is set for Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Oak Park Senior Citizen’s Center. The Center is located in Oak Park behind the Ice Arena. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:00 pm with our meeting to follow. The cost for dinner this year is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. Please return your dinner reservation form no later than February 27, 2010. Now that the S.L.C.A. is operating the camp, we are all part of the process and the annual meeting is an opportunity to give your input. Please come!
The cost of a membership is just $15.00, which covers the entire family.
